I paid almost $8,000.00 for the paint job (1,600.00 for the triple phase burgandy alone), totaling about $9,000.00 with misc. gasgets, seals etc, one door panel. Have all receipts. Before I bought it four years ago from Colorado it had had over six thousand for a NON MATCHING mid 70's 454, built by P-3 racing of Co. I have a partial listing of it (new Winberg steel crank, balancing, TRW pistons, Competion cam etc) but LOST THE RECEIPTS. I put a $450 intake on it (have receipt) and saw the ported heads, big plugs - may be originals, never checked numbers, it has a heavy lob at idle but have no way of substantiating what all is in the engine. I will try to get sound posted, sounds great. I took the mufflers off at the far rear, too quite before, cop friends say still legal here, more like glass packs sound. There a few small things: needs 2-4 body or door gasgets, a small heater duct piece, RH inner door lock switch, very slow R headlight retract, I disabled the wipers and their door, didn't want any chance of a scratch, the signal lever is tight but doesn't stay put. not one speck of rust anywhere but didn't repaint the engine comp. or chassis. glove box carpet loose, rear bumper chrome faded, could use redo. original radio replaced, I'm sure I forgot a couple but a couple thousand parts (priced them out in catalogues) and labor. The interior is overall very nice, missing mentioned or will disclose as I remember or notice. What looks like little nicks over the wheel wells or any others in the pics is sun reflections. Colors from the owner. Built date is K24 from the owner. 110,00 miles. November 22, 2009. |
